C~urb’s commitment to customer service celebrated at national awards | About us

Creating places where people want to live, in homes designed to meet net zero targets

C~urb provides sector leading property development, management and maintenance services, throughout Scotland.

Creating sustainable communities is our central aim, and we do this by building sustainably, maintaining homes efficiently and by managing ethically.

We will do this in a manner that minimises our impact on the environment and where we can, reverse the impact of Carbon emissions and c~urb greenhouse gases.

We’re new, but more than 60 years in the making. C~urb is a subsidiary of Link Group, established in 1962, which is a values led, highly accredited group of social enterprise companies; aimed at improving lives through quality, affordable housing and related services.

C~urb launched in 2022, to bring its expertise to a wider market including RSLs, Local Authorities and the Scottish Government, as well as private companies and investors.

We invest in our staff through mandatory training and learning development, ensuring the highest standards are continually provided and match the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

We are unique; providing full end to end asset development, maintenance and management services, or bespoke individual functions, tuned to our clients’ needs.

Building, managing and maintaining homes for investor led portfolios

We can offer a unique and seamless service for investor led portfolio acquisition, whether that’s existing portfolios, or developing new property assets from feasibility to occupation and managing and maintaining throughout the asset’s life. Principally, we are deploying our expert teams to support private sector development in the same way as we’ve been delivering these bespoke services for Link and other clients for many years.

The integrated service also provides end-to-end contact with housing and landlord teams giving an added layer of property protection and tenancy management.

C~urb Factoring’s Jennii Devine won the Support Staff Member of the Year at this year's Property Managers Association Scotland awards.

The PMAS Excellence Awards are designed to recognise, reward, and celebrate those individuals who go above and beyond to deliver exemplary service to clients, customers, and colleagues.

C~urb, which provides sector-leading property development, management and maintenance services throughout Scotland, was delighted to have staff nominated in three categories.

Jennii’s citation said: “Over her impressive and transformative five-year journey within our team, Jennii has consistently showcased not only an unwavering commitment but also a grounded work ethic, and her exceptional contributions extend far beyond the parameters of her core responsibilities.

“Jennii’s approach to arrears recovery goes beyond the conventional.  It is characterised by empathy and a profound understanding of the unique financial challenges our customers face.  She ensures problems are handled with sensitivity, forging agreements with customers during these challenging financial times.  The resilience and understanding have been pivotal in maintaining positive relationships, both within the team and with our valued customers.”

Jennii’s award reflects the fact that she is adept at developing lasting relationships with customers by finding genuine joy in engaging with them and fostering a sense of community.

In addition to Jennii’s success, C~urb’s Mark Scott were finalists in the Rising Star/Apprentice of the Year category and Sarah Graham for Above and Beyond/Outstanding Contribution to the Industry.
